Strongly Riding the Tides of Inevitable Changes

changes

They say that the only constant thing in this world is change. No one can contest that.

Our lives had been a whirlwind of different human emotions, circumstances and chances. One minute, we are on the top of the world and after five-minutes flat, we are kissing the floor as the wheel just turned.

Changes brought about the good and bad, the most unexpected happiness to the heart-wrenching situation and we, as human beings, are supposed to ride these waves to not be beaten ashore. In a world where almost everything is indefinite, one must be tough enough not to crumble.

A person should be equipped with enough will power to continue move forward because after all, we have a life to live and a show to run. Changes are always inevitable and indispensible. Either we deal with it or not, the just changed thing or situation would stay different from what we have perceived before.

Being emotional over a loss, getting frustrated over a situation, grieving over a chance missed or the urgency to place blame is all natural. Releasing of bottled feelings is such a liberating feeling.

Nurturing all types of emotions over a sudden or a swift change, whether personal or professional, is one way of coping with it.

You can’t always be expected to accept things because they happened, you’re after all a human being and rise on emotions is bound to happen. Being emotional must also have limits as being drowned over a period of time without the attempt to move forward is a screwed-up situation to be in. Putting much time being emotional will make the future bleak for you and being left in a pool of helplessness will hinder your growth.

Some of us like to project an image of being strong and fearless, but sometimes it’s not the truth. The truth is that we’re scared, vulnerable, weak and in need of help. We need to allow ourselves to rely on others and showing that vulnerability is a shot worth taking.

It may feel like you are exposed, but being completely exposed is not always a bad thing. There is always learning and growth that can come from it. You allow people to really see you and when they can see you, can know your stress or pain, they can help. Vulnerability is just part of who we are as people.

Major changes tend to pull-in loneliness and we’re trapped into thinking that battling this alone is the only way to go. You must always bear in mind that you won’t be able to live if you’re burning the wick of your life all by yourself.

Talking to friends and confiding to your family members will lighten the burden that change had given you. A strong support system will push you to move on quickly, help you strategize on what and where to start and make you feel good about yourself.

Our ability to adapt is amazing. Necessity is the mother of invention and you will naturally find ways to solve your problems and do things in new and different ways when you’re presented with challenges.

The adaptability and flexibility of our spirits and of our beings is a given. Those who cannot change and adapt have convinced themselves it is not possible. If you trust that you can adapt, then you will. And if you believe that you can change, then you will, no matter what the challenge.

Keeping the hope in your hearts and using it to maximize your chances to move on quickly is also another way of dealing with change. The mind is capable of doing wonders to our well-being that’s surprising and unexpected.

By being the most hopeful person you are, acceptance is all but far. Getting a strong head start to another change brewing by being positive and motivated will surely keep your life at the right path. Destruction will be deemed impossible.
