Trimming Your Ideas and Making the Good Ones Grow

make-decision

Many of us has a lot of ideas but does not have enough time or has too many tasks and does not have enough energy. What do we do it this happen to us? How do we pick the best decision in a situation?

It is indeed not easy to make a decision especially when there are too many opportunities or you have too many ideas. You need to help yourself to pick the best among your ideas. You need to weight which will be more beneficial to you and to others.

Let me share to you some strategies that will help you deal with the issue of having too many ideas to best pick a decision on a certain situation.

Since there’s a lot of ideas on your mind, learn how to trim it down and take away those that will not benefit me or has a lesser impact. By doing this, it will give you a lesser list of the ideas you will choose from. We can’t deal with a lot of ideas because we also face constraints in our lives.

We have a limited amount of energy and willpower to apply each day. Cut out ideas and tasks that are good, but not great. Yes, say your ideas are all good and has potential, but in order to be successful, we need to learn to choose the idea with the most potential and cut the rest.

Now you have less on the list, choose two or three and rank them from having the most potential and most beneficial to you. It should always be a win- win situation. The idea that you ranked first will be the one that you will implement.

You need to be consistent on doing the idea that you chose and in case that won’t work, you can implement the two other ideas you have as a backup plan. But normally, the first one works.

Especially if you are disciplined, dedicated and consistent in doing it.

Life is like a tree, if you don’t prune some of the branches from your life, the important ones will never flourish.
