Why Letting Go Can Mean Accepting More

Letting-Go-LA

Setting something or someone free could be the one of the hardest deed a person can do in his entire life. More than letting go of something dear, it is a kind of bout between one’s self. And it is not just a one-time struggle someone would experience.

It might take days, weeks, months or even years. People can enumerate reasons why they hold on to a certain thing, but it all boils down to one common basis – attachment.

Sure, it is not easy to just remove a certain part of one’s existence in just a blink of an eye. It is not synonymous to an error made while writing on a sheet of paper. If only life works as such. However, living is a steering wheel that keeps moving.

A progression that no one can halt no matter how hard of an attempt one would exert. Why people grip onto something is part of the human system. Scientifically, there is a part of our brain that keeps all the memories in stock. While there is a possibility of pushing it in the innermost corner while new experiences enters the memory bank, one way or another, the possibility of it resurfacing again still counts a greater chance.

Normally, people let go because some things no longer serve the intended purpose originally they were pictured to be. While this can bring guilt and a pang of depression and sadness, people must learn that holding on to something that exhausts all the good must be left aside for growth to come into the fold.

Grasping something that brings the ugly will not bring benefits in the long run. Set free of that dream or goal you once wished ardently especially if you know you did everything in your utmost power to chase after it. Feeling sorry and disappointed is part of the whole scenario because it means that it mattered.

But learn to understand that most things can be attained through hard work and determination, some things are just not meant to be. Treat it as a broken road that leads you to your real purpose.

Letting go means accepting more in the sense that it allows you to turn around and get a chance to notice something else that’s probably destined for you. Removing focus from the one that brings negative feelings will point you to new endeavors of possibilities and likelihood of success.

Setting something free is also a valuable learning experience. One for the books that is totally helpful in getting through the course of journey called life. Reasons why things worked out and the misses on your part are truly remarkable figures in your life that you shouldn’t be ashamed of because the end product made you richer aware wise.

Let go and flush all the things that should be set free. Give room to new positivism and let the rejuvenated version of yourself come to show. Stand bigger and release all those that hurt you. Opening the windows within you is like freeing the spaces and welcoming greater things inside.
