Brazil nuts are enriched with omega-6 fatty acids that can minimize the risk of cardiovascular diseases. It might sound strange but Brazil nuts do contain radioactive radium because of its vast and complex root system. Compared to other fruits it is thousand times higher. Although it is not believed to be absorbed by the body but it is wise not to consume excessive Brazil nuts.

Sometimes Brazil nuts may create allergic reactions in some sensitive individuals. The allergic reactions range from simple skin itching to severe form of anaphylactic manifestations. So it is advised to avoid Brazil nuts if you have allergic reactions even in mild severity.

In essence, Brazil nut definitely has some nutritional health benefits but like all food items it should be consumed in moderation. Over consumption of this seed will lead to toxicity along with overweight. In order to extract the most out of Brazil nut consume once or twice per week by few.
