Selfie has been the newest craze, no doubt. In a world of smart phones and pocket cameras, capturing every moment has been just as common. Thanks to the advancement of technology, seizing treasured photographs and locking remembrance from special life points won’t be that hard.

Photos if well kept, could stay forever and narrate thousands of stories. It can serve as one’s gate pass to memory lane. Surely, everyone wants to see good shots while in the trance to look back.

Looking terrible is the last thing we want while revisiting splendid moments. Nah, you so not need to be a supermodel to be more gorgeous whenever the camera flashes. Follow these tips and enjoy the glint and tick off your photo capturing devices more than ever.

Go left. And with this, I meant to look at the camera showing the left side of your face because this has been the usual slice that’s more attractive, as famous photographers and studies sworn by. Diminish the visibility of double chins and have an appearance of an elongated neck by pushing the face up a little bit.

We’ve grown up having the photographer announcing the classic ‘say cheese!’ as a cue that the camera will come flashing any second next. Instead of saying this, try saying ‘eight’ or ‘A’. This lifts the facial muscles up which gives a more genuine looking smile.

Control the peaking of your pearls by sticking your tongue at the back of upper set teeth. This controls the size of your smile in right amount without discounting the look of you being happy.

Smize. We’ve heard Tyra Banks say it over and over again. This can be tricky, though. Have the illusion of fierce eyes by slightly squinting and looking half an inch atop the lens of the camera.

Looking directly at the lens will make you look terrified, especially when the light flashes.

Do not neglect three-quarters of the show. Be mindful of your body angle as well. Ever noticed why Hollywood celebs angle their arms and allow little space of it away from the body? Not only it looks classy and confident but it also creates the illusion of thinner, leaner arms. Fake the size of your body by incorporating frame shrinking positions. Angling to one side and not standing in the face of a camera will make you look slender.

Practice, practice, practice. Use that smartphone to your advantage. No one should know what your best angle is other than you. Take photos from every side of your face and be familiarized with the corners of it so that every photo sessions will just be a walk in the park.
