Stress sweating happens. But not in a way that will make you look like you just went out of the shower. Imagine being at a presentation and have the traces of sweat all over your clothes… not quite a sight. Not even when you’ve ready hard enough to deliver your speech with utmost confidence and grace. Not even when you know well enough what you are talking about because the ugly dripping of sweat is stealing the show.
Stress can trigger sweating. This is a human body’s natural way of dealing with discomfort and undesirable situations. While this is the case, we have to face the truth that the presence of sweat is being welcomed all the time. Here are some tips to reduce if not avoid anxiety, sweating, especially when conquering a magnanimous footstep in your life.
Hop in to warm shower. This will bring relaxation and is effective in wiping away those bacteria residing on the skin’s surface that is responsible for the odor being emitted by the body during sweat occurrence. Sweating is embarrassing itself – please let us not pair it with an awful smell.
Do not forget your dose of antiperspirant deodorant. Antiperspirant blocks perspiration for a certain length of time which is perfect in combatting the incident of excessive sweating. Deodorant on the other hand takes care the odor that might arise while perspiring.
Wear breathable clothes. Allow your skin to have the ventilation it needs. Trapping the skin with thick clothing will trigger heat and promote perspiration.
Relax and sigh that deep breath. Relieve the stress by knowing the proper way of breathing. Suck that oxygen by breathing with the diaphragm. Not only it will dwindle down nervousness, your body will also thank you because of the positive benefits it will bring on the systemic activities performed by your internal organs.
