As studies show, kids who seldom receive motivation from their parents and loved ones tend to settle in the backseat as they lack patience and become easily disappointed.
Also, set as a good example. Create an image that you would want your kids to become someday. Be a living representation that would encourage them to do their very best in every one of their ventures. Your kids should not need to look elsewhere to find an inspiration. Take ownership of that part and be an effective influencer in the life of your child.
