However, while we are still savoring the benefits of these beauty products, Korea, the land of beauty innovation has yet again come up with a new trend that will make girls go to their nearest beauty counter and ask for their own share.
Ladies, meet cushion compact. The formulation is the same as BB or CC creams, but the presentation of the product sets it apart from the two. While your beloved BB and CC creams are usually found in tubes, cushion compact is marketed inside the normal compact, similar to what you see on classic go-to powder compacts abundantly available in every beauty counter.
It is not at all in powder as the product works by squeezing the sponge immersed in the liquid formula. A useful tip is when one side is spent, using the other side of the sponge will allow you to maximize the residue that might have accumulated from constant squeezing. This is useful especially for those who usually encounter unwanted stains inside their bags or beauty kits that liquid cosmetics usually leave.
Aside from the convenience of storing the product and avoiding unwanted spills that can tarnish the beauty of your bag, cushion or air compacts also promise the same benefits that BB and CC creams do. What takes it a notch higher is the fact that it is already mixed with SPF (level depending on the brand), which means added protection versus harmful UV rays while fixing skin problems such as discoloration and fine lines.
